We believe that recognition is only the beginning. Our aim is to give young filmmakers the encouragement, resources and ongoing support to trust their instincts and continue developing their own creative language.
In partnership with Berkshire International Film Festival
nexGEN Film Competition
Created in collaboration with the Berkshire International Film Festival, NexGEN celebrates exceptional student filmmakers at the beginning of their careers.
Selected filmmakers receive a cash award, attend BIFF and become part of a community of working filmmakers and industry professionals. Love Today Productions continues the relationship beyond the festival through mentorship and ongoing creative support.
Mentorship
An award can open a door. What happens afterwards matters just as much.
Through ongoing mentorship, Love Today Productions encourages emerging filmmakers to develop their own creative language, trust their instincts and navigate the challenges of bringing deeply personal work into the world.
NexGEN filmmakers receive ongoing mentorship from filmmaker Flemming Fynsk, director of The Art Whisperer.
The relationship is intentionally personal: a space for conversation, creative exploration and practical guidance as each filmmaker finds their own way forward.
